WHAT IS AN ABATE VENDOR AFFILIATE?

ABATE is the Association of Businesses Advocating Tariff Equity - a non-profit coalition formed to represent industrial and other large volume energy customers in gas and electric regulatory and legislative matters.

ABATE Vendor affiliates have access to the people who make the energy purchasing decisions at major Michigan manufacturing companies, many of which are ABATE members.

WHAT DO I GET?

Four targeted opportunities to access this network of energy-related decision makers:

• Invitations for two people to attend both of ABATE's semi-annual general membership meetings, where you can meet the people who need your energy-related product or service. Attendees include ABATE members, prospective members, and guest speakers. No suppliers, except vendor affiliates, will be allowed to participate in these one-day meetings.

• An opportunity to distribute marketing materials at the membership meetings.

• A copy of ABATE's membership directory.

• The opportunity to sponsor a continental breakfast, lunch or refreshment break at one of the semi-annual ABATE membership meeting.

* Affiliate membership does not include voting rights, access to internal reports or any other related privilege of full membership. Full membership in ABATE is limited to large volume energy consumers in Michigan .

Anyone who markets energy-related products, services or equipment to industrial companies, including:

•  Electric power marketers

•  Natural gas marketers

•  Energy management consultants

•  Utilities

•  Rate consultants
